I can only think that the talk in the pits was "we need a little more downfore! how about we make the spoiler real tail!?!"

Real Men Love Elvis

I like Elvis i've been to graceland and seen all the cars and motorcycles. I think its easy to say that Elvis was a Motorcycle fan, even in the later days I think he still looked cool!

Kinda Cool old BMW ad I guess???

Z50 Road Test

This weekend I took my, new to me Z50 to the lake house. here's the report.
Since I took the small bars off and swapped them out for some bigger bars the bike is a night and day change from stock, now your knees are not hitting the tank and you can turn the bike when you have to. The Tires are old and have seen better days so needless to say you have NO grip on the wet grass! As for topend this bike will go as fast as you want to go on 8" wheels almost a little scary! You can fit a 70cc Jug and Piston off a CT70 right to the bottom end of the Z50 motor or they make 110cc cylinder kit for crazy people with money!

Here are some pics that i'm using to rebuild the bike after. Getting back from the lake I took it apart and started painting it to look like the pictures minus the crazy $$$ pipe! They also make an after market plastic tank but it to is going to set you back. this bike is a lot of fun still not sure witch bike i like better the CT70 or the Z50? the CT has the control but the Z50 has the out of control feeling that lets you know your alive.

I would post a pic of the Z50 but i forgot my camera at home, but i plan on posting pics of the bike on the lift and as i get closer to finishing the project.

Z50

Might be trading my hotrod ct70 for a Z50. I have always wanted one for some reason? I don't fit on the bike all that well but i sure have a good time riding it at the lake house.

Travis Pastrana Killing it in Vegas!

Here are some pics from a trip to Vegas I took about three years ago. I went with Kicker for the sema show and the Kicker Big Air show. These pics are from the 50cc race that had some of the best riders in the country. Funny how the other riders are decked out in logo gear and Travis is still in his street clothes taking them to School! picture from the event

Flat tracking with some soul!

James May fly's in a U2 spy plane. I'm stuck on earth!

The Lockheed U2 is an amazing plane, developed to spy enemy countries by the CIA and the United States Air Force. Flying at 70,000 feet, the U2 can fly day or night, rain or sun, photographing ground facilities on very short notice, something that satellites can't do. It was created in the 50s, flying for the first time in 1955, and despite some being shot down over the Soviet Union, Cuba, and China, the fleet is still in use today. In fact, the successful design outlasted the SR-71 and thesecret A-12 CIA spy plane, and will keep flying till 2014 or even later.

SuperMoto

I had a chance over the weekend to do a little mini bike flat tracking and found my new hobby!
nothing like pitching a mini bike into the turn in 3rd gear pined to make you feel alive! I also took my ct70 out for a lap or two, and also talking it off the small double jump. lets just say I had more fun then the 39 year old honda did. I found a nice pic of a crf80 that looks like some fun on the old flat track.

XS650 Flat Tracker

Here are some pics of a XS flat tracker, as you can see it takes a lot of work to make this bike into something. Why not use a Triumph engine?

Rally Racing

For the last few weeks or so I have had Rally racing on my mind, after I saw the Ken Block & James May Top Gear footage.
I have alway wanted to get into Rally racing but my budget is not going to have anything to do with it. The closes thing i'm getting to Rally racing is riding my dirt bike in the woods or driving the Subaru down a dirt road. Here are some cool pics of my favorite Rally car The Audi Quattro the only car that I know of that was forced to retire from racing due to an unfair advantage. Here is a link to a killer video of the Audi in action After watching this video I swear there are Squirrels in the Gearbox!
